Stairway to Brownies

This past Sunday was my friend Bonnie's Birthday. In celebration of said Bonnie's birthday we got together for dinner and mint brownies. Here is a taste of what transpired:

Naia and I get our very own stairway photo shoot

Kayla and Bonnie join in as Demitri snaps away.

Bryce is shocked to see a stowaway on his present to Bonnie.

Somehow as the evening progresses, Collin and Russ loose their hair but never their cool.

Behind the scenes of the stairway photo shoot.

Taking pictures on a stairway is a dangerous job. One must watch ones step and secure little ones.

Demitri takes a break from taking photos to practice his turntable skills.

Like mother like daughter.

Summer Scene

The following were all seen at Naia's 2nd Birthday Party/BBQ.

Russ showing off his crazy face to go along with his crazy hair.

One eyed Jeff, kind of creepy.

Kayla the drink thief.

A Guamese Weekend

The title will make sense to most of you who know me and I want to thank all of you who helped make this years Guamese Weekend so much fun. Friday, Bonnie & Jon took over Caity's party (since she was sick) at the last minute and it was a very nice, relaxing, intimate gathering filled with way too much delicious food.

Then on Saturday morning the group from the night before (Bonnie, Jon, Gav, Jess, Diana) plus Ciaty and Bob, went to Johanna's Kitchen for breakfast and more importantly...scones!

Then later that afternoon it was downtown with the whole fam for Benihana's. We went for the lunch special and unfortunately I think the "lunch special" just meant that they had limited staff as we saw our waiter once at the beginning and that was all. But it was still a good time and I love the food even if the service is sub par.

Then it was off to The Gateway to wait until it was dark enough for the lights to come on at Temple Square.

Thanks to everyone who made this years Guamese weekend so much fun!
